Sukesh Chandrashekhar was born in Bengaluru and according to the police officers who interviewed him, Chandrashekhar always wanted to lead a lavish life and started scamming people at a very young age. Chandrashekhar has completed class 12 in Bengaluru but has a good grasp of technology.

He married Leena Paul in 2015. She is a minor actress in Malayalam films. Paul also played small roles in Hindi films such as Madras Café.

After starting Bengaluru counterfeiting, Chandrashekhar moved to Chennai and within no time he started scamming people in other metropolitan cities across the country.

Currently, Sukesh Chandrashekhar is in a Delhi jail on suspected criminal matters and has 15 FIRs registered against him. Chandrashekhar recently made headlines after ED claimed to have seized a luxurious beach-front bungalow in Chennai, Rs. 82.5 lakh in cash and more than a dozen luxury cars in connection with a case money laundering against him.

Suspected con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been jailed in Tihar prison after being arrested in April 2017 at a hotel in connection with the EC Bribery case. Chandrashekhar was accused of running an extortion ring worth Rs. 200 crores from inside Tihar prison in the nation’s capital.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar was arrested for allegedly taking money from TTV Dhinakaran to bribe election commission officials to obtain the AIADMK ‘two-leaf’ symbol for the Sasikala faction in a by-election at the headquarters of the RK Nagar Assembly in Tamil Nadu. The by-vote was followed after the death of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who represented the assembly.

Apparently posing as the politician’s relative, Sukesh Chandrashekhar tricked over 100 people and promised to do their job. He bought expensive cars with extorted money. According to media reports, Chandrashekhar also used to travel in a car with a beacon and claimed he was the son of then Chief Minister Mr Karunanidhi.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar has also duped many people, posing as the nephew of future Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR Reddy and the secretary of former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa.
