US-based Delta Apparel forecasts net sales of $126 million in third quarter 2022

Delta Apparel, a leading provider of activewear and lifestyle apparel, expects preliminary net sales for the third quarter (Q3) of fiscal 2022 (FY22) ended July 2 2022 to be approximately $126 million, an increase of 6% over the prior year’s third quarter net sales of $118.7 million and mid-single-digit growth from net sales in the third quarter of fiscal 2019 before the pandemic.

Revenue growth in the June quarter was driven by Salt Life Group segment net sales growth of more than 25% and continued growth in the Delta Group segment, the company said in a statement.

“Within our DTG2Go business, we finished the June quarter strong and expect continued momentum over the coming quarters as our first digital ‘on-demand’ solution brings in additional production to meet demand and prepare for upcoming holiday season.

“Our Salt Life group had a strong quarter of sales, growing more than 25% year-over-year, driven by increased activity in our retail and wholesale distribution channels. We further invested in Salt Life’s retail presence, opening two new locations during the third quarter in Boca Raton, Florida and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, expanding Salt Life’s retail operations to 20 outlets.
