Channel 4 Celebrity Gogglebox: Rylan Clarke’s real name, impressive net worth and £1million house

Rylan Clarke has become a household name since the TV star burst onto our screens as a contestant on The X-Factor in 2012, finishing in fifth place but winning our nation’s hearts. However, reality TV fans will remember his time on the Sky Living show Signed by Katie Price where members of the public competed to be signed by the reality TV star’s management company.

The 33-year-old then took his place on Celebrity Big Brother and was announced the winner before breaking down in tears in some memorable scenes. A career in showbiz then called for him as he landed a role on Big Brother’s spin-off show Bit On The Side, and the rest is history as they say.

He now hosts Supermarket Sweep, Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Eurovision, Ready Steady Cook and stars in Celebrity Gogglebox alongside his mother, Linda. The couple are famous for their wonderful mother-son relationship and banter as they comment on last week’s TV shows from their plush cushion.

Although Rylan is now from Essex, he was originally from East London and had a completely different name. He was born Ross Richard Clark in Stepney in 1988, and Gogglebox viewers will sometimes hear his mother calling him by his birth name.

Away from TV, Rylan and her husband Dan Neal sadly called it quits after six years of marriage in 2021 and originally bought their Essex home as a bungalow. The former couple turned it into a spacious five-bedroom property where Rylan continues to live.

The £1.2million mansion is minutes from her mother and boasts a range of luxurious and embellished features including a Big Brother-style staircase, beauty salon, nail bar and gym decorated with glitter wallpaper. The star shares areas of her lavish home on Instagram with her 1.5 million followers and gives them insight into her daily lifestyle.

Her spacious kitchen looks sophisticated with the decor of black and white colors with polished appliances. The radio presenter has also embellished his dining room with burgundy shimmering walls and velvet chairs to give a regal vibe while his living room can be seen on Celebrity Gogglebox as he sits on a very comfortable gray sofa.

Outside her crib, we’re shown a gravel driveway and a sleek porch with illuminated lighting on the doorknob. There is also a huge garden with luxurious furniture and of course an indoor swimming pool.

Over the past few years, Rylan has become a national treasure and his hard work and dedication to showbiz has paid off as his earnings topped £3.4million. Now Rylan’s huge fortune has been revealed in the financial statements of his mail-order company Rcndorse.

According to The Sun, he banked £500,000 last year, bringing in £23,625 in fixed assets and £444,926 in short-term assets. Rylan then had a profit of £405,809 after allocating £67,742 with bills. Rcndorse was established in 2018 and the company was registered at Companies House as “retail sale via mail order houses or via the internet”.

Although it has been listed on the Companies Registry since 2018, 2020-21 was its first year of trading – with its inaugural six-figure return for Rylan spanning the year ending June 30, 2021.

Rylan also benefited from a £300,000 increase in the assets he holds in property company Luxenoa. Financial statements for the year ending April 2021 showed £1,331,303 in total assets – of which £1,287,656 was bricks and mortar.
